If you’re anywhere near Asher Ok, you have to swing by Highway 39 Greenhouse. I popped in recently, and let’s just say my "just looking" plan went out the window the second I saw the prices.
It’s one of those local spots that feels like a hidden treasure. The vibe is super laid-back, and the selection is honestly impressive for such a cute, tucked-away place.

What’s Growing?
Walking through the rows, a few things really caught my eye:
Tomato & Pepper Paradise: If you’re planning a salsa garden, this is your motherlode. They have rows upon rows of healthy starts ready to hit the dirt.
The Flower Power: The hanging baskets are stunning (perfect for that whimsical porch look), and the marigolds were so vibrant they almost looked fake.
Trees & Shrubs: They have a solid variety of young trees if you're looking to add some height or fruit to your property without breaking the bank.
Why I’ll Be Back
The best part? It’s actually affordable. We’ve all been to those nurseries where a single perennial costs as much as a nice dinner, but Highway 39 keeps it realistic for us folks just trying to build a garden one flat at a time. It’s local, it’s friendly, and the plants look way happier than the ones you find sitting under fluorescent lights at the big box stores.

Pro Tip: Make sure you have plenty of room in your trunk before you go. You will find something you didn't know you needed.
